London based Michèle Drees is an established drummer, latin percussionist, vocalist, guitarist and composer and has been active on the Music scene for more than 30 years. During this time Michèle has played with top Artists across a wide variety of genres including Marc Almond, Kirsty MacColl, Seal, Badmarsh and Shri, Ive Mendes, KD Lang, Susanne Vega, Candy Dulfer, Ian Shaw, to name but a few. This month we lucky to have the incredible Tap Master Roxane Butterfly.

My annual pilgrimage to Brasil starts tomorrow.
This year I plan to make a short video diary, as I will be studying with 2 Samba schools, one of which is all women.

The daughter of one of my oldest dearest friends from Brasil.... is a Brasilian Country singer called Ana Luiza Camargo Catalano... yes, they do exist!
I was so happy to record with her last time I was there.
I was honoured to be asked by the phenomenal Issie Barret to share my opinions. I was invited to talk about the All Women Drummer's day I'm setting up for March.
